Established in 1992, Shanghai European-Asian Synthetic Material Co., Ltd. (EASY) is a Sino-foreign joint venture specializing in the research, development, manufacturing, and application of thermosetting phenolic materials and molding compounds. The company serves a wide range of industries, including electrical and electronics, automotive components, home appliances, and industrial products.

EASY’s manufacturing base is located in the Second Industrial Zone of Jinshan District, Shanghai, covering a land area of approximately 24,000 square meters with a total building area of about 20,000 square meters. The facility is planned and constructed in accordance with leading domestic standards and advanced international practices, featuring an integrated automation and digitalized production system that supports molding compound processing and related material development, complemented by comprehensive environmental, safety, and compliance infrastructure.

Currently, EASY has an annual production capacity of 50,000 metric tons of molding compounds, which are widely used in injection molding and compression molding applications. The company has accumulated long-term technical expertise in phenolic resin process engineering, formulation design, and material engineering, and is capable of flexibly configuring production and cooperation models in response to market and customer requirements. EASY’s products have been exported for many years to the United States, Japan, Australia, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and Hong Kong (China), establishing stable and long-term partnerships in both domestic and international markets.

In terms of research and development, EASY continues to invest in technological advancement, focusing on thermal resistance, mechanical performance, environmental performance, and functional modification. The company has developed multiple series of high-performance functional molding compounds, including materials with high heat resistance, impact resistance, low chlorine content, and antibacterial properties. EASY currently holds 28 valid patents, comprising 13 invention patents and 15 utility model patents, and plays an active role in the industry’s standardization system through leading and participating in the drafting of multiple national standards.
